“All veterans pay with their lives. Some pay all at once, while other’s pay over a lifetime.” ~ J.M. Storm
J.M. Storm wrote these words. They have come to mean a lot to Kind Deeds Coalition, and they drive our mission to bring hope, healing and empowerment to veterans affected by anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and the other ailments associated with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Kind Deeds Coalition, a 501 c3 not-for-profit, EIN 93-3454119, is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our heroes trying to survive their challenges every day. We hope to help reduce the high rate of suicide and reduce anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders by providing help and resources. Want to join us?
Together, we can build a better tomorrow and future for veterans!
Our History
17 – 22 veterans commit suicide every day. There are 18 million veterans in the United States who need varying degrees of help. 5.4 million veterans have a documented disability. Opioid addictions and alcohol abuse with veterans is on the rise. These are some of the reasons the Kind Deeds Coalition was formed.
Cory Miner and Frank Marx, the Founders of Kind Deeds Coalition, began development of this mission in 2021. Even then they recognized a profound need to help veterans with their struggle to re-enter civilian life. Both Founders have lost friends and family to the devastation of war, including the one that follows our veterans home.
Without knowing how to establish a charity, and with little funds of their own, Cory and Frank began to build a network of like-minded visionaries who also see the need for alternate means of dealing with the issues and horrors of PTSD and rehabilitation.
Many mainstream treatments use opioids or other narcotics and chemicals. Many of these are Schedule 1 drugs which carry a high risk for substance abuse, and many veterans supplement by self-medicating with alcohol. This combination can be deadly. Our veterans deserve better, wouldn’t you agree?
Kind Deeds Coalition, under the direction of Cory and Frank, have put together a broad team of doctors, universities (such as Texas A&M), businesses, other charitable organizations, and holistic practitioners to address veterans with severe trauma induced anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation, and other issues associated with PTSD. By making alternative proven products, services, and resources available, we aim to significantly help all veterans in need… and will do it at zero or reduced cost because of generous donations and partnerships / sponsorships from people, businesses, and corporations like you!
